Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus arrives smoothly as the upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy J6, another smartphone released this year. It was announced alongside the Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus.

Compared to its predecessor, the smartphone has dual cameras on its rear, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a larger display. The side-mounted fingerprint biometrics is one of the features it has in common with the J4 Plus.

Let’s see in full what it’s made of.

Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus Quick Review

One of the key features of its design is the switch of the fingerprint from the rear region to the right side. It appears sleekly below the power button leaving the camera set-up to highlight the back region. Mind you, the cameras are dual in nature, and they are supported by a LED flash.

Next up is the display section. A wonderful Infinity Display (18.5:9 aspect ratio) forms the layout for which the 6-inch IPS screen relays the multimedia output. It bags a resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels, similar to Samsung J6.

In the internal memory section, you can either have to yourself a 32GB J6 Plus or a 64GB J6 Plus. Either way, you don’t have the luxury of expanding the memory using a MicroSD card as there’s no slot for such a purpose. Also in the memory department, there are options for the RAM segment too – 3GB and 4GB.
